The 21
A short film honoring the 21 Coptic men martyred by ISIS in Libya in 2015, produced in the style of Coptic iconography by a global team of 70+ artists from more than 24 countries.
COMING SOON.
Since the first century, Christians have endured persecution.
Yet in the midst of death, the Church remained
alive and hopeful remembering Jesus' promise,
“Blessed are those who are persecuted
because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
(Matthew 5:10)
In 2015, in a now-infamous video, ISIS terrorists beheaded 21 men on a Libyan beach. ISIS told the story as they saw it, in disturbing video footage spread around the world.
The 21 Martyrs film project tells the story from a Christian perspective, reframing their martyrdom as a tale of faith and victory.
This film will be available for screenings and will be featured in film festivals. Support is still needed to finish production.
